SSV Texas
Supercharger Installation
Complete Installation, Calibration and Supporting Upgrades
A supercharger system should be installed as part of a complete performance package—not treated as an isolated bolt-on component. SSV Texas provides professional supercharger installation, factory-supercharger upgrades, calibration coordination and supporting upgrades for compatible cars and trucks.
Every project begins with a review of the vehicle, supercharger system, current modifications, intended use and performance goals.
Serving Central Texas—from Waco to San Marcos.

Any required work outside the confirmed flat-rate scope is reviewed before it is performed whenever practical.
Calibration
Supercharger Tuning
Proper calibration is a required part of a supercharger installation or upgrade. The calibration must match the vehicle, fuel, supercharger system, pulley configuration, injectors and other supporting components.
Performance tuning starts at $600.
Tuning services may include:
- Manufacturer-supplied calibration installation
- Supported custom calibration
- Engine and transmission calibration
- Idle and drivability refinement
- Throttle and torque-management calibration
- Data review and revision when required
- Calibration for supported fuel and component combinations
Final pricing depends on the vehicle, modifications, tuning platform and calibration requirements. Tuning hardware, credits, licensing and remote-calibration fees are additional when applicable.
Build the Complete System
Supporting Performance Upgrades
A supercharger increases the demands placed on the engine, fuel system, cooling system, transmission, driveline and tires. Supporting components are recommended according to the vehicle, power level and intended use.
Supporting upgrades may include:
- Fuel injectors and fuel-system components
- Fuel pumps and voltage-support components
- Spark plugs and ignition-system maintenance
- Heat exchangers and intercooler cooling
- Radiator and engine-cooling upgrades
- Oil separators and crankcase-ventilation components
- Intake and throttle-body upgrades
- Headers and exhaust systems
- Transmission calibration and cooling
- Clutch or torque-converter upgrades
- Driveshaft, axle and differential upgrades
- Brakes, suspension and traction components
- Wheels and performance tires
Not every vehicle requires every supporting modification. We recommend components based on the actual combination rather than applying the same parts list to every build.
Temperature Management
Intercooler and Cooling-System Upgrades
Heat management affects consistency, durability and performance. Cooling requirements vary according to the supercharger system, vehicle, climate and how the vehicle will be driven.
Cooling upgrades may include:
- Larger heat exchangers
- Higher-capacity intercooler reservoirs
- Intercooler pump upgrades
- Fans and airflow improvements
- Radiator upgrades
- Oil and transmission cooling
- Coolant-system inspection and service
Street driving, towing, track use and repeated acceleration place different demands on the cooling system. Intended use is discussed before the package is finalized.
Fuel Delivery
Fuel-System Planning
Fuel-system requirements depend on the engine, target power, supercharger system, injector capacity, fuel type and calibration.
Fuel-system planning may include:
- Injector selection
- Fuel-pump capacity
- Pump-voltage support
- Fuel-line and fitting requirements
- Fuel-pressure verification
- Octane and fuel-quality requirements
- Flex-fuel or ethanol compatibility when supported
Before Installation
Vehicle and System Review
A supercharger should not be installed over unresolved mechanical, electrical or calibration problems. Before the project is confirmed, we review the vehicle and installation package.
The review may include:
- Vehicle identification and application verification
- Current modification review
- Diagnostic-trouble-code scan
- Fluid and maintenance-condition review
- Engine and driveline condition assessment
- Supercharger-system part-number verification
- Component and hardware inventory
- Calibration and tuning-platform verification
- Supporting-component requirements
Additional diagnostic testing may be recommended when vehicle condition, mileage, history or existing symptoms create concern.
Beyond Stage 1
Custom and Higher-Output Systems
Higher-output supercharger projects often require additional fuel, cooling, calibration, engine, transmission and driveline work. These builds are quoted according to the complete scope.
A custom project may involve:
- Modified or built engines
- Smaller supercharger pulleys
- Higher-capacity fuel systems
- Alternative fuel combinations
- Custom intake or throttle-body configurations
- Headers and complete exhaust systems
- Transmission and clutch upgrades
- Driveline and differential upgrades
- Advanced cooling systems
- Custom fabrication or wiring
- Specialized calibration and testing
Custom combinations are evaluated individually and are not covered by the flat-rate labor price.
Customer-Supplied Systems
Customer-supplied supercharger systems are accepted following application, condition and completeness review.
SSV Texas does not warranty customer-supplied parts, manufacturing defects, incorrect fitment, missing hardware or failures caused by those components.
Booking and Deposits
Most projects require a 50% deposit to reserve installation time and order components.
Payment schedules for larger or multi-stage builds are determined by project scope.
