V8 Under Glass C8 Corvette Stingray
This C8 Corvette Stingray hardtop convertible received a carefully coordinated two-tone paint treatment, custom engine-display window and performance exhaust system. The result is a more exotic interpretation of the C8 that remains cohesive with the Corvette’s original design.
01 / TWO-TONE EXTERIOR
A Sleeker Hardtop Profile.
Carbon Flash Metallic was applied to the retractable roof and A-pillars to create a cleaner, more unified upper profile. The treatment continues across the rear decklid, where a body-color Stingray emblem provides a subtle contrast against the darker finish.
02 / V8 UNDER GLASS
Putting the Mid-Engine Layout on Display.
A custom engine-bay window was fabricated using tempered glass to showcase the Corvette’s V8 in a distinctive “V8 under glass” configuration. A body-color red intake cover completes the presentation and ties the engine compartment back to the exterior.
03 / CUSTOM DETAILS
Purposeful Color and Graphic Accents.
A single spoke on each wheel was painted in the Corvette’s body color, creating a restrained accent that becomes more dynamic when the vehicle is in motion. Up front, a custom hood graphic featuring the classic Corvette Jake logo adds another motorsport-inspired detail.
04 / SIDE SCOOP DESIGN
A More Distinctive C8 Profile.
Custom C-shaped side-scoop extensions were finished in Carbon Flash Metallic. The extensions give the intake opening a more aggressive shape while opening the scoop area to support increased airflow.
05 / SOUND & PERFORMANCE
Letting the V8 Be Heard.
A SOUL Performance exhaust system was installed to increase sound and performance. AFM and NPP valve simulators were incorporated into the installation for proper integration with the Corvette’s factory electronic systems.
