One team. Broad capability.
Built to see the whole vehicle.
A specialty vehicle is not a collection of unrelated parts. Power,
suspension, braking, aerodynamics, fitment and finish all affect the
way the completed vehicle performs—and how complete it feels.
SSV Texas brings those disciplines together under one roof. From a
focused first upgrade to a complete vehicle build, our team considers
how every decision fits the vehicle, its intended use and the final
result.
Speed.
Powertrain upgrades, supercharger systems, calibration, exhaust,
cooling and supporting drivetrain components selected to work as a
complete package.
Science.
Suspension, brakes, wheel and tire fitment, chassis balance and
aerodynamics approached as functional systems—not isolated changes.
Style.
Bodywork, aero, paint, graphics, interior details and final assembly
executed with proportion, fit and finish in mind.
Experience behind the work
Decades in specialty vehicles.
The team behind SSV Texas brings decades of experience across
specialty-vehicle design, development, manufacturing and finish—from
GT racing programs including the Saleen S1-R to award-winning SEMA
builds including the Bandit Truck.
That experience also includes production specialty vehicles, dealer
programs, individual customer builds and the practical work required
to take a vehicle from concept through final assembly.
The value is not simply knowing how to install a component. It is
understanding what the component changes, what must support it and
how the finished vehicle should function as a whole.
Integrated capability
More than an installation shop.
Mechanical, chassis, fabrication, body and finish capabilities allow
us to coordinate more of the project and solve problems across
disciplines.
Powertrain & Calibration
Supercharger installations, tuning, intake and exhaust systems,
cooling upgrades and supporting drivetrain work.
Chassis & Control
Suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, ride height and fitment planned
around how the vehicle will actually be driven.
Body, Aero & Paint
Vehicle teardown, panel installation, bodywork, aerodynamic
components, custom paint, refinishing and final assembly.
Complete Vehicle Builds
Coordinated projects combining mechanical work, chassis upgrades,
exterior design, paint, interior details and specialty upfit
equipment.
In-house refinishing
Color is a system, not an afterthought.
Our in-house paint capability supports everything from individual
components and painted hardtops to complete color changes and
multi-color vehicle programs.
We maintain a full AkzoNobel mixing bank and also spray BASF Glasurit
and PPG systems when the project specification, existing finish or
customer requirement calls for them.
Keeping teardown, body preparation, color and final assembly connected
gives us greater control over consistency, panel fit and the completed
presentation.
How we approach the work
Start with the vehicle and the goal.
You do not need to arrive with a complete build sheet. Tell us what
you own, how you use it and what you want to change. We will help
determine the most practical first step.
-
01
Define
Establish the goal, intended use, budget, timing and current
condition of the vehicle. -
02
Engineer
Confirm compatibility, supporting modifications, parts, labor and
the proper order of operations. -
03
Execute
Coordinate procurement, installation, fabrication, paint and final
assembly around the approved scope.
